For more than two decades, Boruch Chertok has worked at the intersection of fashion, craftsmanship, and storytelling. In 2009, a search into forgotten Jewish history led him to the Sudra—an ancient garment woven throughout Jewish life for centuries.
What began as a design project evolved into Semitic Tribes, a fashion brand dedicated to reimagining authentic Jewish heritage through contemporary design. Drawing from history, textile traditions, and timeless symbols, Boruch creates pieces that connect the past to the present, transforming heritage into something that can be worn, experienced, and shared.
